Last Train to Nibroc
by Arlene Hutton

Wednesday 4 - Saturday 21 June 2008

"I didn't know you but now we're riding the same train. And no matter what happens, there will always have been a time that we rode the train together."

It is Christmas week in 1940 on a train somewhere west of Chicago. Raleigh takes a seat next to May. She is sincere and honest in her beliefs. He is a teasing young man in uniform with pretensions of being a writer. Can such a brief encounter lead to romance or will revelation and difference come between them? A truly endearing wartime romance.

Katie Henry is a trainee director at the Orange Tree Theatre.
